Now that I am becoming ensconced in France and learning to navigate my way around the city that calls itself Paris and now that our wi-fi is up and running and I can actually use a reliable connection to access the Internet, let me explain my purpose for what will be the next chaper of this blogging experience.
Better yet, let me tell you what it will NOT be about. It will NOT be a blog about life in Paris. That you can be assured of.
If the subtitle of this little exercise in writing states that it celebrates the creativity in randomness, then I want to continue my random ways and not travel down the paths that have been beaten by scads of other ex-pats who have made their way to Paris. From Gertrude Stein to today’s web-typers and tweeters, millions of words have been poured about what it is like to live in sweet Par-ee.
I, meek Nolan Mannski, will not be one of those scribblers. If you are dying to read some blogs about life in the French capital, you can go to town by linking to here and here and here. There you can read alll about the cuisine, the streets, the building, and all other things French.
I, for my part, would like to try something different and there is some other non-France good stuff out there, so take a chance on reading about living in Luxembourg, growing a garden in Belgium, or surfing in Liechtenstein.
Now, where’s my bagette so I can NOT take a picture of it.
